Performance
Performing has been central to Allison’s identity for longer than she can remember. As a three year old, her favorite place was prancing about, pink scarf in hand at her weekly ballet class. She continued to call the dance studio home throughout high school and into college where she received her BFA in Dance Performance & Choreography from Elon University.
Upon graduating, Allison joined the cast of The Lost Supper, produced by Emursive at the iconic McKittrick Hotel. It was there that she discovered her passion for performance beyond proscenium. Her work in recent years has focused on using movement as a story telling device in non-traditional theater settings: nightlife, immersive activations, and the world wide web. Called “enthralling” by No Proscenium, her performance as Fruit Dom for Chorus Production’s virtual nightlife experience, Eschaton, showcased Allison’s unique performance focus: erotic, movement-based, strange.
Allison performs regularly throughout New York as her burlesque alter-ego. To read more about her work in that glittering realm, look here.
